Role Summary

This position is responsible for managing overdue client accounts and preventing future delinquencies. You will also play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating fraud-related risks, helping ensure customer trust and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contact clients with overdue accounts to secure payment settlements

  • Take preventive measures with high-risk accounts to avoid future delinquencies

  • Analyze and evaluate fraud claims, determining whether to approve or decline

  • Investigate unauthorized or suspicious fraud claims and high-risk transactions

  • Coordinate with merchants for dispute resolution and chargeback processing

  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of each merchant chargeback dispute

  • Proactively identify potential fraudulent charges and take necessary action

  • Stay updated on fraud trends; suggest preventive and corrective measures

  • Meet and exceed productivity, quality, and compliance metrics

  • Provide feedback and suggest process improvements based on customer needs

  • Balance customer experience with the business interests of American Express

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner

  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing


Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate, preferably from a commerce background

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (preferred)

  • Familiarity with MS Office tools and applications

  • Good written and spoken communication skills

  • Conversational proficiency in English


Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of fraud prevention procedures

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and deliver with accuracy

  • Customer-first mindset and high result orientation

  • Prior experience with American Express products (a plus)
