EXL Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Banking & Financial Services – Analytics team. The role requires expertise in stream data analytics (Kafka), REST API, Java, and Python to design, develop, and optimize system solutions for high-volume data processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Design: Build scalable software applications, ensuring smooth system architecture and data flow.

• Customization & Modification: Adapt and refine applications to meet changing business requirements.

• Debugging & Documentation: Identify issues, resolve bugs, and maintain clear documentation.

• Integration & Support: Work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team for seamless application performance.

• Testing & Deployment: Validate system resilience and test automation tools to enhance efficiency.

• Innovation & Proof of Concept: Identify and implement cutting-edge ideas to support business growth.

• Collaboration: Partner with development, testing, and production teams for a smooth software lifecycle.

• Architectural Evolution: Transition from monolithic, batch-based legacy platforms to event-driven, microservices-based architecture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 3+ years in modern development stacks (Golang, Kafka, REST API).

  • Application design, software development, and testing in an Agile environment.

  • Relational & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Cassandra).

  • REST API development for high-volume applications.

  • Continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

  • Experience with automated build & test frameworks (preferred).

  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) for development & collaboration.
