Role Overview:

As Manager – Retail Franchise, you will drive topline growth, manage franchisee relationships, and lead retail expansion strategies. This role involves operational management of both company-owned and franchise stores, with responsibilities in business planning, inventory, team development, and vendor management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Performance & Growth

    • Drive topline and profitability through KPIs like AUV, ATV, conversion, etc.

    • Forecast and manage inventory to ensure right product mix across stores.

    • Monitor and manage operating budgets PAN India.

  • Franchise & Store Management

    • Identify, onboard, and manage the right franchise partners.

    • Oversee franchise operations and ensure alignment with company standards.

    • Manage relationships with malls and property consultants.

  • Retail Operations & Expansion

    • Conduct catchment studies and location analysis for new store openings.

    • Plan space, manage retail vendors, and coordinate store projects.

    • Develop and implement standard operating systems.

  • Customer Experience & Visual Merchandising

    • Ensure excellent customer service across stores.

    • Implement visual merchandising standards.

  • Team Leadership

    • Recruit, train, and lead store staff.

    • Motivate the team to achieve retail and operational targets.

  • Commercial & Legal

    • Ensure timely payment collection and account reconciliation.

    • Handle commercial and legal aspects of store operations.


Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in retail/lifestyle/fashion apparel

  • Strong knowledge of franchise operations and retail sales

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills

  • Strong analytical and financial skills

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects

  • High integrity and ethical standards

  • Familiarity with market trends and customer behavior

Operational Competence:

  • Deep understanding of store profitability and KPIs

  • Basic knowledge of visual merchandising and operational SOPs

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and execute retail plans
