Job Description:

PICK n PAY is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier cum Salesman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will assist with sales activities, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and the store is organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cashiering Duties:

  • Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.

  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring correct change and receipts.

  • Maintain a balanced cash register.

• Sales and Customer Service:

  • Assist customers in locating products and answering inquiries.

  • Promote special offers and upsell products when appropriate.

  • Ensure a pleasant and professional customer experience.

• Stock and Store Maintenance:

  • Restock shelves and maintain product displays.

  • Ensure pricing labels are accurate and updated.

  • Keep the checkout area and store clean and organized.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or sales role is preferred but not required.

• Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail.

• Customer Service: Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weights.

• Teamwork: A positive attitude and team player mentality.
