We are expanding our Finance team and are looking for a competent Billing Specialist to ensure timely and accurate billing in alignment with firm policies and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities

Billing Process & Client Engagement

???? Initiate billing for assigned primary billers twice a month, reviewing billing arrangements, schedules, statements of work, and engagement letters.
???? Ensure timely and accurate billing for services provided.
???? Review aged WIP (Work-in-Progress) balances to identify billing opportunities.
???? Maintain client folder data attributes and statuses as per industry standards.
???? Manage client accounts and ensure bills are paid on time, escalating issues if necessary.
???? Build strong relationships with external clients and stakeholders to streamline the billing process.
???? Act as a business advisor by understanding client needs and optimizing billing efficiency.
???? Ensure billing practices are both adaptive and aligned with company standards.
???? Provide continuous feedback to improve engagement management.

Analysis & Reporting

???? Understand net unbilled concepts and make appropriate billing recommendations.
???? Recognize the importance of realization and reserve concepts in billing.
???? Conduct billing issue investigations and invoice adjustments to ensure accuracy.
???? Use company-standard reporting tools to support primary billers in engagement management.
???? Help analyze, manage, and achieve billing targets set by functional leaders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

✅ Education: B.Com, BBA, or any graduate degree.
✅ Experience: Minimum 1.5 to 5 years in billing or finance-related roles.
✅ Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel proficiency preferred).
✅ Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, both orally and in writing.
✅ Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in billing processes.
✅ Professional Billing Experience is highly preferred.
