Job Description

ARDEM Data Services is seeking an experienced Sr. IT Operations Analyst to oversee server management, backup solutions, storage infrastructure, and cloud platforms, specifically AWS. The ideal candidate should also have expertise in managing Office 365, Google Workspace environments and leading technical support teams.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and strong leader with at least 7 years of experience in IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Server & Network Management

• Oversee the development, installation, and maintenance of server and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Configure, update, and troubleshoot servers and networks to meet business requirements.

2. Backup & Recovery

• Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data.
• Develop and test backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.

3. Storage Infrastructure

• Lead storage system management to ensure scalability, efficiency, and high availability.
• Evaluate and implement storage solutions to support the organization’s growing data needs.

4. Cloud Platform Management (AWS)

• Manage and optimize AWS environments for application and infrastructure workloads.
• Implement best practices for cost management, security, and scalability in cloud deployments.

5. Administration of Office 365 & Google Workspace

• Oversee the administration and support of Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• Ensure smooth user support and integration of Office 365 and Google Workspace applications across teams.

6. Technical Support Management

• Mentor and guide a technical support team, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Develop and implement support procedures, including ticketing systems and knowledge base management.

7. Security & Compliance

• Work with the security team to implement and maintain security best practices in server, cloud, and storage environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in IT operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT operations, focusing on:
  ✅ Server & network management
  ✅ Backup & recovery solutions
  ✅ Storage infrastructure
  ✅ Cloud platforms (AWS)
  ✅ Tech support management

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of designing and managing server, network, and storage infrastructures.
• Experience in configuring and managing backup & recovery systems.
• AWS cloud expertise, including cost optimization, security, and scalability.
• Administration experience in Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Google Workspace.
• Leadership experience in managing technical support teams.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but beneficial)

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator
• Other relevant IT certifications
