As a Salesforce Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business outcomes. This role includes leading a team, driving technical excellence, and collaborating across multiple departments.
Client Management: Contact clients with overdue accounts to ensure timely settlement and conduct preventive work to avoid future overdues.
Salesforce Development:
Design and implement Salesforce declarative solutions, custom applications, and integrations across platforms.
Perform code reviews and pair programming to improve team efficiency.
Continuously enhance CI/CD workflows for deployment efficiency.
Refactor and optimize codebases while promoting inner sourcing initiatives.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 junior engineers.
Facilitate discussions to resolve technical challenges and promote collaboration.
Work closely with product partners and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Innovation & Communication:
Identify alternative approaches to complex problems and break down barriers to ensure productivity.
Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and provide technical guidance.
Learn and adopt new technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Design & Development:
Build and customize Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and SFDX.
Implement Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks.
Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
Integration & Automation:
Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and Function as a Service (FaaS) solutions.
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Copado.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to align technical delivery with business objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously refactor code for performance optimization.
Drive inner sourcing and contribute to engineering best practices.
Education: BE degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years in software engineering.
6+ years as a Salesforce Developer.
Experience leading complex Salesforce projects and delivering at scale.
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks (React/Angular).
Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and SFDX.
Knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and Function as a Service (FaaS).
Expertise in industry-standard CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, CircleCI, and Copado.
Experience implementing customer and partner communities.
Certifications (Required):
Salesforce Platform App Builder
Salesforce Administrator
Salesforce Developer
Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
Salesforce System Architect and Application Architect certifications.
Experience with Big Data, MuleSoft, Heroku, and Tableau.
Previous work integrating Marketing Cloud solutions.
