As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for GRC Technology Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems. You will lead and optimize production support processes, implement observability practices, and drive automation to deliver seamless technology experiences for our customers.
1. SRE Strategy and Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive SRE strategy aligned with business goals.
Lead a team of SRE professionals to improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of GRC technology solutions.
2. Observability and Monitoring:
Establish observability practices to provide real-time insights into system performance and customer experience.
Implement and maintain monitoring tools, metrics, and dashboards (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
3. Production Support Optimization:
Oversee end-to-end production support including incident management, problem resolution, and SLA compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).
4. Customer Journey Enhancement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, reliable, and customer-centric technology experiences.
Enhance GRC customer journeys by optimizing system performance and minimizing disruptions.
5. Reliability Engineering Best Practices:
Promote and implement best practices such as error budgeting, chaos engineering, and disaster recovery planning.
Foster a culture of resilience and reliability across technology functions.
6. Automation and Efficiency:
Champion automation initiatives to streamline workflows, deployment processes, and incident response.
Leverage automation tools to enhance system reliability and reduce manual intervention.
Experience: 4-8 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining highly available distributed systems.
Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Monitoring Tools: Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or similar tools.
Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of cloud-based SRE practices with experience on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Containerization & Microservices: Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
ITIL & Service Management: Knowledge of ServiceNow or other ticketing tools and ITIL processes.
Observability Practices: Deep understanding of logging, monitoring, tracing, and performance analysis.
DevOps & Culture Change: Proven ability to drive culture change, implement DevOps practices, and promote continuous improvement.
