About the Role

The Civil & Structural (C&S) Delivery Services Lead will manage a centralized offshore team of structural or floating systems engineers, providing technical support to offshore assets across multiple regions.

???? Reporting Structure:
✅ Line reports to: Chief Engineer, Civil & Structural (C&S)
✅ Functional reports to: IM Delivery Services Manager, Pune
✅ Part of: Chief’s Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

???? Establish and lead the C&S IM support team in Pune.
???? Manage & mentor the team, setting Focus@BP goals and professional development plans.
???? Ensure knowledge-sharing, training, and accreditation within the team.

Technical Oversight & Integrity Management

???? Provide technical support to offshore structural/floating platform integrity management.
???? Ensure compliance with BP engineering practices, industry codes, and regulations.
???? Promote workflow standardization across global C&S IM teams.
???? Oversee inspection data management, risk assessments, anomaly management, and engineering evaluations.
???? Collaborate with regional Squad Leads and IM Subject Area Leads to align technical requirements.

Risk & Compliance Management

???? Identify and escalate high-risk activities to Chief Engineer or relevant managers.
???? Contribute to C&S Community of Practice by sharing best practices.
???? Support BP group, Safe & Operation Risk Assurance (S&ORA), and audit teams.
???? Perform self-verification of C&S IM programs and ensure continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

???? Education:
✅ BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or a related field.
✅ MSc/MEng preferred.
✅ Professional accreditation (Professional Engineer or Chartered Engineer).

???? Experience:
✅ 15+ years in offshore fixed/floating platform integrity management.
✅ Expertise in inspection, risk assessment, fitness-for-service, modification & repair.
✅ Strong understanding of industry standards, project management, and process safety.
✅ Leadership experience in managing teams and multi-discipline integrity teams.
✅ Strong ability to influence stakeholders & decision-making at all levels.
