Position Summary:

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 1 is an intermediate-level role within Citi’s Transaction Services team, responsible for executing complex financial transactions. The role involves regular processing of payments, transfers, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity while acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and driving process efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process regular, restricted, and legal transfers, including:

  • Payments

  • Receivables

  • Trade transactions

  • Liquidity flows

  • Wholesale card activity

• Act as a SME, identifying and implementing process improvements

• Evaluate transaction issues using data analysis and experience, and recommend solutions

• Liaise with internal and external clients and vendors to deliver timely results

• Support and collaborate on cash & trade operations projects

• Understand the team's role in achieving broader business objectives

• Uphold Citi's risk, compliance, and control standards by:

  • Ensuring adherence to applicable laws, rules, and policies

  • Escalating and managing control issues with transparency

  • Acting with integrity and sound judgment

Qualifications:

• Previous relevant experience in financial operations (preferred)

• Basic understanding of financial industry regulations

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
