About the Client

Our client is engaged in trading equity markets using automated systems and mathematical models. They focus on identifying trading strategies based on past market patterns and executing them through fully automated trading systems.

What We Are Looking For

We seek an Associate Software Engineer passionate about designing new in-house algorithms. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, eager to learn, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision. Prior experience in algorithmic trading is a plus.

Required Experience / Skill Set

• Proficiency in any programming language, preferably C/C++.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent quantitative and analytical reasoning skills.

• Solid understanding of Data Structures (especially Arrays and Lists) and Algorithms.

• Excellent debugging skills for complex code and large datasets.

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematical Computing, or equivalent is preferred.

• Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming (especially C++) is a plus.

• Knowledge of additional languages like Java or Python is advantageous.

• Experience with AmiBroker’s AFL programming language is a plus.

• Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and AWS is a plus.

• Strong communication skills in English or Hindi.

• Fresh graduates with strong programming project experience in college are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets to identify predictable patterns.

• Research and identify new models through books, internet resources, or professional networks.

• Test patterns using historical data with testing software.

• Deploy and test models in the real market environment.

• Maintain and update models according to evolving market conditions.
